The Seahawks have experienced one of their best athletic years in recent memory. There were 3 team State Championships, 11 individual champions, a Lower State Championship, and 8 Region titles. Individually there were 29 All State performers. Our coaches were recognized as well, we had a State Coach of the Year as well as 4 coaches that were honored as Region Coach of the Year.

Our Booster Club has worked diligently assisting the athletic department in many areas. Developing a home field for lacrosse, the “I am an Athlete “promotion and the purchase of athletic equipment and supplies are just a couple of examples.

As we look forward to 2010-2011, the future looks bright. We are fortunate to have many of top athletes returning, we should see strong performances again from Cross Country, Wrestling, Girls Tennis, Track, Soccer and Lacrosse just to name a few. We are very thankful for the coaches and appreciate their outstanding efforts. Hilton Head High is very fortunate and quite proud of our teams and their successes.
