Congratulations to the AAA State Champion Boys and Girls Cross Country and Girls Tennis Teams!  Also, Congratulations to HHIHS swimmer Nicole Menzel for signing a Letter of Intent to the University of Arkansas and Charlie Bolgan for signing a Letter of Intent with the University of Louisville.  These two swimmers along with Fallon Kelly(Fallon will be attending Clemson as an invited walk-on swimmer) were also awarded Scholastic All-American by USA Swimming. The accolades keep rolling in for our tremendous student athletes. 

Cheerleading has reached the State finals for the first time.  They compete Saturday November 21 in Columbia for the State Title!  We are off and running with the Winter Season Sports.  They have begun to practice and will open up competition shortly after Thanksgiving.

 On Thursday Nov 18, the Athletic Department will sponsor a seminar on the Student Athlete and College Recruiting.  A guest speaker from Dynamite Sports is flying in to lead the seminar.  All parents and students are encouraged to come with questions in hand.  The event is 5:00-6:00 in the media center.  Happy Thanksgiving to all!
